Who Are We?
CL!CK is a student-run online coding program for all ages. We cater to all levels of experience and specialize in scripting languages, although we also teach circuitry, logic, and much more. Our online-based platform allows us to work with students from around the world. Our main goal is to inspire children and adults to learn an increasingly useful skill and code their own futures.
Course Options
We offer classes in Python3, C#, and Tinkercad, three of the most useful languages. We teach using basic terms that help the students to learn complex functions and syntax. Python is the most used language in STEM, used from AI to microbiology, and C# is one of the best languages for developing amazing websites, games, and apps. Tinkercad is used in both designing and programming robots, and teaches students how to build simple circuits with lights, sounds, and colors.
Class Styles
Our classes maintain a 1:5 instructor to kids ratio to ensure that every student is included. In addition to having planned lessons and challenges each class, students are also encouraged to reach out and ask questions about their coding and to present their work to the class for constructive criticism.
Teaching Staff
Our current head teacher is Jahan Ethan Shah, a high schooler based in Ontario. Over their decade of experience with programming, they've won numerous awards for their work, such as being a finalist in a CSA-sponsored hackathon and winning a Replit hackathon, and are excited to now be using their expertise to educate the next generation. Since starting CL!CK in 2020, they've taught hundreds classes for a variety of skill levels, ages, and languages.
